UT400 ULTRASONIC CARTRIDGE

This cartridge provides any PRAGMA platform with a « state of the art » flaw detector for ultrasound imaging. It has a high-performance pulser-receiver of 400 Vpp, many analog filters and plenty of gain. Already equipped with 2 encoder inputs, you can do a C-scan imaging of your part for better sizing and clearer reporting.

EASY TO USE

The UT400 Flaw Detector shares the same user interface and a very similar software interface with our PAUT software. It is user-fiendly, easy to learn, and easy to remember how to use it. The interface itself is the easiest to learn in the industry.

HIGH-POWER PULSER

The UT400 has a 400 Volts square-wave pulser with a burst capability up to 16 cycles. You can send a lot of energy in the inspected part, therefore extending the possible depth of inspection with high gains.

HIGH-PERFORMANCE RECEIVER

The cartridge has 110 dB of low-noise analog amplification, combined with a selection of 8 band-pass filters and 2 selections of recovery time. This state-of-the-art receiver will provide you a sharp signal even at deep depths or in highly-attenuative materials.

ENCODER INPUTS FOR IMAGING

With two(2) inputs for quadrature encoders, the pulsing and signal acquisition is triggered at particular positions. That enables you to produce B-scans, D-scans and C-scans of your inspected part. With such imaging, you can have a reliable and traceable inspection, and you can use cursors to measure the defect position and size of your indications.
